Gordon Baker is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 25 years experience of traffic and transportation related projects. He is a Fellow of IHT, a Board Director of JMP Consultants Limited and a Member of the Institute of Directors. He has been a contributory author on a number of IHT publications; the "TIA Guidelines" published in 1994, "Transport in the Urban Environment" in 1997 and "Public Transport for New Development" guidelines in 1998. He is a Visiting Professor in Sustainable Development at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and is Chair of the Board of Directors of Tennis Scotland.

Claire Carr is the Board Director responsible for Colin Buchanan's operations in Scotland and parts of Ireland. She has nearly 25 years experience in transport planning and traffic engineering and she is a member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation and Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics. She represented the IHT on the Steering Group responsible for the preparation of the Scottish Executive's Guide on Designing Places.

Graeme is a Chartered Engineering with 15 years of experience in the highways and bridges sector.
He is a Technical Director with W A Fairhurst & Partners in their Dundee Office having reached this position in 1999 following 11 years with the firm in numerous positions throughout Scotland.
His major projects have included the Elvanfoot – Paddy’s Rickle Section of the upgrading of the A74 to full dual 3 lane motorway standard in Scotland and the recent strengthening of the Forth Road Bridge Towers.
