The Membership Board undertakes a varied role in overseeing all business that relates to membership of the Institution. This includes acting on behalf of Council in respect of membership applications as well as the following responsibilities and duties:

• To review membership criteria as necessary
• To promote and monitor Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• To maintain a register of members.
• To advise Institution members on upgrading and transferring their membership.
• To review the process for the administration of membership and subscriptions and recommend improvements as necessary.
• To oversee and develop the Institution's disciplines and ethics activities.
• To develop the Corporate Partners Scheme.
