IHT are running a national competition to discover its new strapline. IHT currently use the phrase ‘representing excellence in the environment of transportation’.
Entries are invited in from members of the Institution and it is hoped that a new version will be created. Members are asked to consider what IHT means to them and to the wider world when creating an entry.

IHT will be using this strapline in its promotional campaigns, be that in contact with government, the public, other stakeholders and the press. It is hoped that the strapline can encompass what IHT is about and what the Institution represents.
Information that may be useful can be found in the About Us section of the website that highlights what the Institution’s mission is and what its strategic objectives are. http://www.iht.org/aboutus/aboutiht.asp
The closing date for entries is the 26 March 2008. Please send any relevant ideas, including your contact details and membership number to Rebecca.Lee@iht.org or for more information call her on 020 7391 9971
