The Road Network Performance Directorate was established as the lead organisation within TfL for the delivery of operations and policy objectives for the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Director is also TfL’s Traffic Manager.
Mark heads up the department responsible for the assessment and approval of TfL and London Borough Schemes and Works on or affecting the Transport for London Road Network (TLRN) and London Borough Strategic Roads (as designated under Part 5 of TMA 2004). He has further responsibility for coordination of TfL and utility works on the TLRN.
Mark is also leading the delivery of LondonWorks, a road and streetworks management information system that is currently being deployed to all London Boroughs and TfL promoters to support local authority scheme and utility works coordination across the capital.
Mark is a chartered civil engineer and member of the IHT, he has been with TfL for nearly four years and has a local authority civil engineering and highways background.
